2022 ROUSSANNE (new fall release!)

This is our first ever 100% Roussanne, created to showcase both our estate vineyard in Walla Walla and what this grape can do all by itself. The pale yellow color does little to hint at the intensity and complexity of what is to follow. Aromas of honeycomb, Meyer lemons, and iced black tea transition to a mouthwatering, characteristically weighty Roussanne mouthfeel, where flavors of the same are joined by light notes of citrus.

  • Pair with: Heavier seafood dishes, lighter meats and cream sauces.

2022 CHARDONNAY (new fall release!)

Featuring grapes from a cooler climate near the Columbia river, our full-bodied and balanced 2022 Chardonnay is fresh, lively, and combines the best of both oak and stainless steel winemaking techniques. Opening notes of honeysuckle, lemon zest, tropical fruits, and light vanilla are backed by a core of minerality. Pronounced citrus accompanies the usually dominant and mouthwatering flavors of pineapples and pears. The finish is long and crisp, resolving finally into that same core of minerality noted at the start.

  • Pair with: Your favorite quiche, sweet and savory ravioli fillings with cream sauce, or any seafood fresh off the grill.

2022 MELANGE BLANC

The 2022 vintage of our Mélange Blanc returns to a more Roussanne dominant blend, featuring the classic aromas and flavors of fresh-cut ripe pear, honeycomb, star fruit and hints of tea. The Viognier brings significant stone fruits, white flowers, citrus, and minerality. Finally, the Chardonnay in the blend provides notes of apples and rounds out the creamy mouthfeel. Crisp and agile on the palate, yet full-bodied, Mélange Blanc appeals directly to your inner "white wine lover”.

  • Pair with: Duck Breast, Dungeness crab dip, or grilled halibut.

2022 SAUVIGNON BLANC

2022 marks our second vintage of bottling a 100% Sauvignon Blanc from high atop the Horse Heaven Hills AVA in Washington State. Very pale straw colored, this year’s offering once again opens with explosive and layered aromas of lemon grass, tropical fruits, and white flowers, leading into flavors of passion fruit, white peach and tart green apples. This lighter-bodied yet mouthwatering wine finishes with palate-refreshing minerals and just a hint of pickled ginger.

  • Pair with: Paired with roasted chicken, shellfish, halibut with dill, or a lightly herbed goat cheese.

2019 E70 (new fall release!)

In 2019, Cabernet Sauvignon from Quintessence and Red Willow vineyards returns as the dominant varietal in our E70 blend, with Syrah from Red Heaven, Boushey and Alder Ridge making up the balance. Earthy and spicy notes of Syrah lead on the nose, where aromas of blackberry cobbler and fresh-ground black pepper dominate, supported by sweet vanilla and slightly smoky notes of cured meats. On the palate the Cabernet Sauvignon asserts itself, contributing the mouthwatering flavors of black cherries and currents, along with subtle cedar and graphite. The Syrah reappears late and at the back of the pallet, leading into the long finish and supple tannins.

  • Pair with: A juicy grilled ribeye or portabella mushroom.

2019 MERLOT (new fall release!)

Merlot was one of the first varietals to put Washington State on the world wine map! This vintage of our Merlot suggests superb age-ability and shows why it is still among the best our state has to offer. Our medium purple, intense and inviting classic Merlot offers aromas of cherries, plums, and cocoa powder, which are joined seamlessly with barrel notes of vanilla, and cedar. Those same influences carry through to the palate where they welcome juicy blueberries from the Malbec in the blend. Mouthwatering acidity and supple tannins lead to a long finish.

  • Pair with: Herb-crusted rack of lamb or any creamy cheese.

  • AVA: Columbia Valley

2019 PETIT VERDOT (new fall release!)

This 100% Petit Verdot is a superb example of the powerful yet softer wines that can be produced from this grape, which has traditionally been used only for blending. Classic aromas of violets and dusty lavender are joined by light notes of maple and sage. Our Petit Verdot is inky dark purple in color, with ripe plums, black cherries and sweet blackberries which dominate the intense flavor profile. Bold, smooth tannins and a lush mouthfeel eventually give way to a lingering finish of dark fruits and earthiness.

  • Pair with: Salty cheeses, like a well-aged gouda, or your favorite grilled steak with compound butter.

  • AVA: Walla Walla Valley

  • Composition: 100% Petit Verdot

2020 CIEL DU CHEVAL SYRAH (new fall release!)

Distinctive and delicious, this single vineyard Syrah from prestigious Ciel du Cheval on Red Mountain was produced especially with our club members in mind. This deep purple wine is more savory in character than many of our other Syrahs. From the enticing aroma to the long finish, focused, super-dark fruits and Asian plum sauce combine seamlessly with fresh-ground black pepper and a structured core of classic Red Mountain dusty tannins and minerality. With extra time in the glass, this wine becomes even more expressive, suggesting that those who cellar it patiently for 2-5 years may be well rewarded.

  • Pair with: Salty fare, for example prosciutto or other cured meats.

2019 CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Deep ruby in color, our 2019 Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon opens with intense aromas of dark cherries and black currants, backed up by generous notes of cedar plank and just a hint of black pepper.   Mouthwatering flavors of tart black cherries and ripe blackberries explode onto the palate, where they are joined by pleasing hints of sweet vanilla and light bramble.  Solid structure is balanced in the long finish by lingering notes of juicy dark fruits and hints of cocoa powder.  Enjoy decanted today and watch as this wine continues to evolve beautifully over the next 5-7 years.

  • Pair with: A juicy New York strip steak or tender filet mignon are the perfect companions. Add some cheese, and you’ll have a delightful meal.

2019 SYRAH

Our dark purple 2019 Columbia Valley Syrah showcases some of the best Syrah grapes from across Washington State. The wine draws you in with lush aromas of dark cherries, vanilla, lightly smoked charcuterie, and coffee. Those influences carry you into the mouthwatering body, where they are joined by blackberry cobbler and black currants. Velvety soft tannins lead into a long smooth finish featuring lingering dark fruit and spice, closing with just a touch of dry dusty sage.

  • Pair with: Your favorite BBQ or smoked meat, or with anything with some char and sizzle right off the grill!

2019 ZINFANDEL* (library wine - limited availability)

This medium to dark purple colored wine opens with inviting aromas of strawberry compote and dark cherries, with hints of clove, dried fruits, and well-worn leather. Mouthwatering flavors of ripe dark cherries, strawberries, fig, vanilla bean and a bit of bramble are backed up by smooth, supple tannins and a finish of light tapenade and leather notes. This, our third vintage of Zinfandel, is sure to join its predecessors as a wine club favorite!

  • Pair with: Any medium-bodied dish or your favorite pizza.

2022 ROSÉ OF SANGIOVESE (new fall release!)

Our robust, medium-to-light onion-skin colored rosé of whole-cluster pressed Sangiovese is from Seven Hills Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley. Aromas of strawberries, raspberries and baking spices on the nose are joined on the robust pallet by sweet rainier cherries and hints of citrus. The mouthwatering, full mouthfeel leads to a finish full of fruit notes and citrus zest.

  • Pair with: Flavorful Asian dishes or traditional Italian fare such as prosciutto or perhaps a margherita pizza.

  • AVA: Walla Walla Valley

2022 ROSÉ

This brilliant medium salmon colored rosé of Sangiovese and Tempranillo opens with pronounced notes of strawberries, watermelon, and sweet vanilla blossoms.  Intense flavors of fresh strawberries are joined by red plums, continuing into the softer finish where the opening berry and melon notes reappear along with lingering light mineral influences.  Barrel fermentation lends a round, textured mouthfeel.

  • Pair with: An appetizer of pears, prosciutto and cheeses, and sweeter, not-too-spicy curry dishes, like Butter Chicken.

2021 SPARKLING ROSÉ OF PINOT NOIR

Once again in 2021, two different clones of Pinot Noir grapes from Pine Brake Vineyard north of Zillah give our Sparkling Rosé its characteristic cantaloupe color. This year, the aromas include strawberry, papaya, and ripe melons, with a hint of orange rind as the wine warms a bit in the glass. The fine mousse of bubbles created using the traditional champagne method carries the wonderfully balanced flavors of strawberries, pink grapefruit and crisp nectarines forward into the delicate finish, which closes with hints of minerality and citrus creamsicle.

  • Pair with: A stone fruit or citrus dessert, this bubbly will also compliment any delicate seafood.

2021 BLANC DE BLANCS SPARKLING CHARDONNAY

Our sparkling Chardonnay is a true classic and shows off with every sip. It is whole cluster pressed and made in the Méthode Champenoise (traditional Champagne method) to craft a bright, fresh bottle of bubbles. Brilliant pale yellow in color and delightfully dry, our 2021 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs opens with delicate aromas of white peaches, pears, and brioche. Fine bubbles and a generous mousse highlight flavors of the same, along with green apples and citrus. The mouth-watering finish features hints of lime zest and a touch of crisp minerality.

  • Pair with: Raw oysters, fresh-picked crab, or a nutty parmesan or asiago cheese.

Brassy gold in color, our 2019 Late Harvest wine opens with intense aromas of orange blossoms, pineapple, apricots, and honey. The creamy mouthfeel carries flavors of candied oranges, pineapple, and yellow peaches into a surprisingly light and refreshing finish, where the lingering fruits are joined by hints of butterscotch.

  • Pair with: A plate of our cellar-master Jim’s homemade triple orange biscotti!

2019 RUBI

Featuring Washington State plantings of the traditionally Portuguese varietals Touriga Nacional, Souzão, and Tinta Cão, our deep red 2019 Ruby port style wine opens with intense aromas of dark bourbon soaked cherries, warm vanilla sauce, orange zest and a spice or cigar box filled with cinnamon and cloves. Juicy black cherries dominate the flavor, joined by ripe blueberries, candied oranges and hints of toffee, all lingering long into the finish that eventually closes with delicate notes of coffee and rosemary.

2016 PORT* (library wine - limited availability!)

Robust ruby red in color, our 2016 Port is made from the traditional Portuguese varieties: Touriga Nacional, Souzão, and Tinta Cão, all grown in the Yakima Valley of Washington State. Dark fruit dominates the intense nose: black cherry and black raspberry, highlighted by spicy cloves, vanilla bean, and hints of violets. Flavors of candied bing cherry, lychee, black plum, orange zest and dark chocolate burst onto the palate and linger long into the warming finish. Enjoy now or hold for the next several years. This Ruby Port will evolve beautifully in bottle.

REMINDERS

PICK UP INFORMATION

You will be notified via email prior to your credit card being charged for the allotment. You may pick up your wine at any of our five Washington locations during normal tasting room hours. (BOOK YOUR MEMBER EXCLUSIVE TASTING HERE!) We reserve allocation varietals for 90 days, but will do our best to fulfill the allocations beyond 90 days. We are happy to help you pick out replacements in the event we are out of a wine at the time of pick up.

SHIPMENT INFORMATION

For your convenience, wine can be shipped for special member flat pricing of $20 on every 3-12  bottles purchased, plus applicable taxes. You will be notified prior to your credit card on file  being charged for the allotment and shipping.

MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION

Wine club cancellations must be completed in writing or by email 30 days prior to the invoicing date of the next shipment. Members cannot cancel before one year of membership has passed. Charged allocations cannot be refunded.
