Patterson Cellars is a family-owned winery.  The wine is produced and bottled at Patterson Cellars located in Woodinville, Washington. We use grapes from Columbia Valley, Red Mountain, Chelan and Horse Heaven AVA’s to provide consistent quality in our wines. Our wine is approachable and follows the new world wines in its style. 

John Patterson, along with his father Jack Patterson, worked together on their first vintages. Jack started in wine production as a cellar hand for a local winery during crush season starting in 1984.  John joined his father in this endeavor working part time straight out of high school, which worked into a full time job 6 months out of the year and continued into 1999.

John and Jack started their first production in 2000 in Monroe under the name Washington Wine Company. The facility was equipped to manage wine production from crush to cork, which included all aspects of crush, bottling and labeling. Their first release was in 2003. 

Stephanie joined the family in June 2007 when the winery was relocated from Monroe to Woodinville.  Stephanie assisted in opening the tasting room and the winery changed the name to Patterson Cellars. Stephanie manages the tasting room, handles the direct sales and coordinates winery events.

 Winemaker John Patterson with over 22 years in the wine industry carefully crafts each one of our distinctive red and white blends as well as the new Woodslake Winery label wines.  Woodslake Winery label is an extension of the Patterson Cellars brand that is produced as a tribute to John’s family and is the road the family lived on.  Both labels are created and bottled by Patterson Cellars in limited production and are profoundly enjoyable. The Patterson Cellars wines have formed a close following by those who know that we will continue to release wines every year that are truly extraordinary. We focus on creating wines as unique as the grape itself.   

Patterson Cellars also offers a unique space and experience in their Woodinville facility for parties and events, a retail tasting room, wine club, custom crush facilities for local wineries, as well as a bottling and a private label program where award winning wines have been created for local restaurants.
